As we roll into 2021, I do not want to see or hear people speaking of resolutions. I want to see people tuning in a bit more with themselves & figuring out what daily habits they can add in, adjust or maybe expand on to be the best version of themselves. These 4 things are each a non-negotiable for protecting my health, inner-peace ✌🏼 & wellness. Maybe these will help inspire you on creating your personal list of non-negotiable items.
𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩: My #1. This is what comes first before anything else. Sleep is needed for everything from weight-loss, to hormone regulation, cell rejuvenation and mental health. Without the right sleep our body and mind can not restore themselves.
𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: This is the sleep that nourishes wisdom. Challenge yourself to create more silence in your life. Consuming less media, noise and chatter will help guide you towards learning your inner-most desires and creating peace.
𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭 – mainly through exercise. Bringing our body temperature up is the best way to open our blood vessels. Exercise gives our immune cells a boost, strengthens antibodies, wards off infections / viruses and benefits our mental health.
𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧: Just as our gas tank needs gas, we need fuel. Food is our fuel. Whether we forget to eat or choose to eat food that lacks nutritional value we are doing our body a disservice. Protect your health by nourishing your body. Changing your view of food to purposeful can help you make wiser choices to ensure you’ll feel your best!
